Design:
offers an orderly, professional presentation for showrooms and retailers.

Outdoor:
essential for selecting high-performance, weather-resistant fabrics for outdoor furniture, umbrellas and covers.

Production process

1

Personalised Consultancy

Targeted analysis and strategic format selection

Every fabric carries its own unique identity, one that deserves to be showcased with the right approach. That’s why the first step is a detailed analysis of the specific requirements of each reference and its target audience. Through a process that combines the client’s brief with consolidated know-how, we identify the most suitable formats, ensuring an effective and targeted presentation.

2

Design and Planning

Layout study and choice of support materials

A fabric sample book must combine clarity, aesthetics and functionality. Our team analyses the materials, studies the most effective layout and develops bespoke graphic solutions. Through the creation of prototypes, we turn ideas and visions into concrete tools, ensuring a harmonious, intuitive result that is true to the brand’s identity.

3

Precision Cutting

Advanced technologies for cutting fabrics

Excellence in a sample book starts with precision cutting. Thanks to our automatic die-cutters and sample cutters, we can achieve millimetre-precise cuts for both large volumes and custom work. Every fabric is analysed with the utmost care, ensuring a clean, undistorted, flawless cut. We can also apply backings for a cleaner cut and hem the edges of the samples.

4

Assembly and Fastening

Application onto custom supports

Thanks to our jigs, two-factor authenticated robots and specialised machinery, we assemble thousands of fabric samples with precision every day. Stamp-mounted, cascade or drop-mounted: we select the bonding technique best suited to each project’s needs, ensuring optimal hold and excellent results even on large-scale production runs. Every support and adhesive is chosen based on the fabric’s characteristics, ensuring a presentation that is refined, durable and consistent with the brand’s identity.

5

Quality Control and Delivery

Detail verification and secure shipping

Every fabric sample book undergoes rigorous checks to ensure a flawless result. We verify the precision of the cut, the correct application of the fabrics and the quality of the supports, making sure every detail is taken care of. Once it passes these checks, the sample book is carefully packaged and shipped quickly and with the utmost reliability.

Practical guide to creating the perfect fabric sample book

What information is needed to develop a fabric sample collection?

Number of items, number of colour references per item, and print specifications for the paper supports needed to produce the final product (colour card, fan deck covers, or binders/boxes).

What is the most effective format for presenting a fabric sample collection?

Every product meets different needs. We understand the needs of every type of end user (sales teams, professionals, architects, etc.). Based on the needs of those who will use the sample collections, we develop the best possible product.

How do you calculate the amount of material needed for production?

We start from the size of the individual sample and the height of the fabric roll. Taking into account the type of cut and any other processing required (taping/overlocking the samples), we enter the data into calculation software that can provide the required yardage already at the quotation stage. This way, the client is also informed of the value of the material to be invested in the project.

What are the production times for a fabric sample collection?

Thanks to our Lean Production approach, we can provide reliable timelines from the very first stages of the work. Correctly receiving the fabrics (in terms of yardage and the full set of colours) allows our production managers to plan machine scheduling early on and identify the weeks needed for processing and delivering the material. The more precise we are in the early preparation and control stages, the more accurate the delivery times we can communicate right after receiving the material.

Can design and packaging be customised?

Yes — we can literally design new products and bring the client’s ideas to life thanks to our dedicated graphic development team. We can take care of the product’s aesthetics as well as prototyping. If requested, the packaging of the finished product can also be customised with branded boxes and bespoke solutions.
